digg vs livejourno timestamping -- yet again

AD.2006.Jan.22.Sunday | 21:49.PST

this is a pain in my sweet little butt. to "blog this" from http://digg.com, pst (utc-8) has to be used. digg doesn't seem to allow adjustments for timezones. livejourno, on the otherhand, let's you set your timezone, but that does nothing to account for posts from other timezones and there is no automatic indication of which timezone posts come from.

so far, the only thing i've been able to do is make all posts from pst by back-dating my manual posts ict-15 (indochina time - 15). but this sux and i won't do this forever.

maybe the only way to fix this is to buy a livejourno upgrade. dream on!

AD.2006.Jan.22.Sunday | 19:34.PST

Let's get it straight: Google isn't trying to protect child pornographers. News sites are casting a negative light against Google by mistakenly referring to "child porn" when the issue is actually about "children looking at pornography -- i.e. webmasters not ensuring their sites are sufficiently blocking minors from viewing harmful content."
